Улыбайся Ветру // Моменты

More very good Russian screamo.
They are called, Smile to the Wind

МАЯК // МАЯК

I've recently been shown two very talented Russian screamo bands.
First one being Mayak.

William Bonney // For My Sad Friends

Oddczar // One Word

The band Apart from South Carolina, recently tweeted telling everyone to check out a Charlotte, NC band called Oddczar. Since I am such a big fan of Apart right now, I am going to check out a group if they recommend it. I couldn't be happier about looking these guys up. Their tags on Bandcamp were emotional hardcore, but for the sake of the blog I am going to classify them as screamo/skramz. Which is basically emotional hardcore.

Place Called Home // Reprimanding In A Car Crash

Here is a demo released yesterday (March 7th) by Stockton, Cali based screamo/punk/skramz outfit, Place Called Home.

I'm really digging this new song and while I went on their bandcamp to do a post about a past album, I was pleasantly surprised to see this new release (is a demo considered a half release?)
Anyways if this song is an indicator for what is to come then we all better start paying this band a lot more attention.

Vowel // If Wishes Were Coins

Another great band from Driftwood Records. So why do none of the youtube videos that Driftwood recorded have any views?
How do you feel about the use of violin in a screamo/skramz band?

Apart // Suffer In Rhythm

So glad that this band is in my life right now.
Hardcore? Melodic? Skramz? Screamo? Emo? Post-Hardcore?
I have no idea how to classify these guys, and I really like that.
They're just a dash of all my favorite things.
